Brett Turner

Founder & CEO

After starting out as a CPA at Deloitte, Brett spent his early years as a financial reporting & GAAP specialist in Controller roles prior to his time at Amazon managing its SEC reporting. After leaving Amazon in 2005, Brett developed a strong track record for building, financing, and growing tech startups as a CFO. Prior to starting Trovata in 2016, he raised over $100M through equity and debt financings with successful exits at 3 enterprise startups generating over $500M in shareholder value. Outside of work, Brett enjoys time with his family, the beach, playing golf, and watching the Seahawks.

Joseph Drambarean

CTO

Joseph is one of the founding members of the company and the first engineer. Before Trovata he worked with companies like Capital One where he was at the forefront of digital transformation, leading product management as head of the innovation labs and mobile banking teams. Joseph is driving innovation around rapid deployment and customer onboarding, bank-grade security, and machine learning at Trovata, creating a more consumerized user experience for customers from small businesses to enterprises.

Catrina Zhang

CFO

Catrina brings 17 years of finance experience to Trovata, including financial leadership in high-growth publicly traded and privately held companies. She held multiple leadership roles at Amazon that helped drive hyper-growth while improving profitability. Most recently, Catrina was CFO at Apollo Graph, a Bay Area fast-growing SaaS start up. During her time at Apollo, Catrina was instrumental in scaling the business into a tech unicorn and raising over $150M in equity through funding rounds. Catrina holds an MBA degree in Finance and Strategy from University of Michigan. Outside of work, Catrina enjoys traveling, hiking and skiing with her husband and son.

Matt Xenakis

CISO

Matt is a business focused cybersecurity leader with over 18 years of expertise in building and running comprehensive and innovative cybersecurity programs. He has unique cybersecurity experience driving security architectures and risk management strategies, and helping Fintech startups mature their cybersecurity programs and prepare for acquisition or IPO. Matt lives in California and has his BSE in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University.

Paul Bramwell

Enterprise Treasury Lead

Paul is Trovata's Enterprise Treasury Lead and brings over 3 decades of experience in the corporate treasury world. Paul has worked for two of the largest treasury system vendors in various senior roles and was a Partner in Ernst & Young's treasury advisory service. Paul has worked with some of the largest and most complex global treasury groups in all aspects of the treasury function. Originally from the UK, Paul has lived in the US since 2003 and is a self-confessed gadget addict.

Kelly Walsh

VP Customer Success & Global Services

Kelly brings 10 years of senior executive experience with almost 20 years in cloud and financial tech industries at both high growth and public companies. Most recently, Kelly led the Post Sales functions at Astronomer, a hyper growth data pipeline company that she helped scale from $5m to $50m ARR in 3 years. Kelly uses a data and outcomes focused methodology to refine and scale the ability to provide continuous value to all customers. Outside of work, Kelly enjoys spending time with her husband, 2 sons, and their golden retriever up and down the East Coast, primarily on the coast of Maine.

Rida Khan

VP Marketing

Rida leads the Marketing team at Trovata, driving demand generation and brand awareness in the US. Previously at Rybbon (acquired by Blackhawk Network) and Geospark Analytics (now Seerist), she has focused her career on delivering data-driven results at high-growth start-ups. Rida holds a B.S. in Economics and a B.A. in International Relations from Virginia Commonwealth University. Currently residing in Washington, DC, she enjoys experimenting with new recipes and walking her dog through the nation's capital.

Matt Bramson

VP Sales

Matt brings 20 years of multi-vertical tech expertise across the entire customer lifecycle—spanning sales engineering, opportunity execution, and value delivery. Most recently, he led global sales at Manta Data Lineage, acquired by IBM in 2023. Prior, Matt was VP of Sales at Narrative Science, an AI Natural Language innovator acquired by Salesforce in 2021. Matt utilizes his technical acumen and leadership experience to optimize organizations with both enterprise and channel go-to-market strategies. Outside of work, Matt enjoys spending time with his family, coaching youth sports, live-music and the Chicago Cubs.

Jelani Vassall

VP Global Operations

Since the beginning of his career, Jelani has been leading Programs and Projects from the ground up that require multiple convergent stakeholders. With a majority of his career spent delivering military simulation systems for the US Army's Simulation Training and Instrumentation Division, his ability to manage teams, create processes, and maintain systemic alignment has led to successfully delivering complex technological products globally. Currently residing in the Bay Area, Jelani graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelors in Computer Engineering.

Joe Barker

VP Product Management

Joe comes to us from Google where he drove API Product Strategy & Governance for GCP's enterprise customers. Joe continues to build upon his deep expertise of API platform strategy, program management & design best practices specifically within the Financial industry. In his free time, Joe loves spending time with his wife & 1 yr old son, woodworking & spending time out on the lake.

Vladimir Pintea

VP Engineering

Product executive driven by innovation and technology. Was leading Open Banking initiatives supporting clients and partners including the largest Tier 1 US and EU Banks, Lenders, Credit Bureaus, FinTechs, EMIs, Merchants, Accounting/ERP vendors as Head of Open Banking Gateway at Salt Edge Inc.
Graduated Technical University of Moldova with bachelor degree from an English taught Honors Program in Computer Science.

Henry Ball

VP Business Development

Henry leads Trovata's business development by spending his time engaging with Trovata's strategic partners and executing on the company's key priorities. Prior to Trovata, Henry spent over a decade at BlackRock across investment strategy, operations and finance teams. Living on the east coast, you might find him and his wife chasing after a toddler, who is chasing after their dog, who is chasing after a squirrel.

Aqeel Gunja

Engineering Fellow & Technical Chief of Staff

Aqeel has built his career on executing large-scale initiatives: from delivering on Marriott’s mobile platform to executing on Capital One’s Virtual Card project to being a key leader for Trovata’s engineering program. Starting as one of Trovata’s founding engineers, he has evolved to being a key contributor in Trovata’s engineering strategy. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Purdue University. Residing in the suburbs of Chicago, he is a full-time family man with two fast-growing boys.

Monica Wertz

Director, People Operations

Monica is a seasoned Senior People Partner with a robust track record in supporting high-performing teams and fostering a culture of high trust and accountability. She has held pivotal roles at Movement Strategy, Ping Identity, and Fullscreen Media (acquired by ATT/Warner Media in 2019), where she successfully helped support large organizational change initiatives, including M&A, various reorgs and job-leveling restructures. With a career marked by impactful contributions, Monica is recognized by her peers and network as an intuitive HR leader who can do hard things, while driving positive change and nurturing talent in every organization she serves. Originally from San Diego, she enjoys rollerblading in Coronado, attending SD Wave games, and eating Mexican food.

Philip Hurst

Senior Corporate Counsel

As Trovata’s legal counsel, Philip advises the executive and other internal teams on a wide range of legal issues, including corporate governance, commercial contracts, employment, intellectual property, litigation and M&A. Prior to joining Trovata, Philip worked for seven years as a corporate associate at large international law firms with a focus on domestic and international strategic M&A and general corporate matters. When not at work, you can find Philip with his wife and three kids enjoying San Diego’s wonderful beaches.

Jonathan Woodruff

Head of Design

Jonathan, Trovata’s Vice President of Design, brings over 15 years of expertise in user experience and responsive interface design, advertising, corporate identity, and motion graphics. He has collaborated with Fortune 500 companies, private corporations, and nonprofits, showcasing a talent for crafting a diverse range of exceptional print and digital solutions. Jonathan is instrumental in Trovata’s transformation of finance and treasury, prioritizing intuitive user experiences and design excellence to enhance the company’s standing in the financial sector.

David Taylor

Director, Client Success

David heads up customer success at Trovata, with a laser focus on customer happiness and health. David started his career pursuing his CPA license while working in the audit practice at KPMG. After transitioning to the SaaS space in 2019, he quickly found his passion for helping customers find the utmost value in their software investment. For fun, you’ll find David line & country swing dancing, staying active with all kinds of sports, and soaking up the sun in Austin, Texas.
